Founder | Creative Director | CEO

Quentin is the Creative Director and CEO of Ironroot Games, bringing 17 years of AAA experience on titles like The Last of Us and Uncharted 4, shaping combat and narrative-driven action titles. He leads the project's creative vision, guiding the player experience from combat systems to musical atmosphere.

Quentin leads Ironroot by creating a supportive atmosphere for all team members and collaborators, ensuring fair equity and shared success. He believes great games come from teams that are valued and invested in the outcome.

Dave Keenan

Art Director

Dave is the Art Director for concept development, blending fine art training with decades of visual development experience across AAA and indie teams.

He shapes the identity through world-class mood exploration, character design, and thematic coherence.

Tim Mrozek

Content Director

Tim is the Content Director and an artist with a decade of AAA experience as Senior Environment Artist.

He contributed to The Elder Scrolls Online and Zenimax Online's unannounced project, building vast worlds and large-scale production pipelines. He guides visual storytelling and content consistency from concept to completion, as well as contributes to art production.

Elaine Gómez

Principal Gameplay Designer | Studio Culture Lead

Elaine is a Principal Gameplay Designer with 9 years of experience designing gameplay systems and player experiences focused on player agency and accessibility.

As Studio Culture Lead, she brings nearly a decade of community leadership from co-founding Latinx in Gaming to fostering the inclusive, sustainable culture that defines Ironroot.

Ian Mahuta

Technical Director

Ian is the Tech Director, bringing deep engineering expertise and a rare eye for gameplay feel, pacing, and player experience.

He not only leads the technical foundation, but also plays a key role in guiding the design vision, shaping systems, combat, and the game’s creative direction.

Corey Johnson

Lead Character Artist | Narrative Lead

Corey is the Lead Character Artist at Ironroot Games, bringing over a decade of AAA experience from studios like Naughty Dog, Cloud Imperium Games, Hi-Rez, and Prophecy Games.

He specializes in building high-fidelity characters, modular pipelines, and visually striking heroes and creatures that define the project’s artistic identity.

Christopher Pollok

Lead Environment Artist

Chris is the Lead Environment Artist with over 15 years of AAA experience building worlds, pipelines, and large-scale environment ecosystems.

He crafts spaces with strong visual identity and supports the team with deep technical knowledge and reliable production leadership.

Mary Chan

Head of Operations | Finance

Mary is the Head of Operations & Finance at Ironroot Games, building the financial and operational foundations that support the studio’s development.

She brings a cross-disciplinary background spanning investment banking at JPMorgan and senior leadership roles at game studios like Lightforge Games and Series Entertainment, where she led operations, finance, and people functions through periods of rapid growth and organizational change.

Mary partners with founders to align the business with the creative ambition, enabling teams to stay focused on building the game while the studio operates with clarity, discipline, and long-term resilience.
